Want to get that Rosie Huntington-Whiteley glow? Lisa Eldridge is here to teach you how with this step-by-step guide.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley Makeup Tutorial

Modeling since she was a teenager Rosie has become both a beauty icon of our time and an entrepreneur. First, there was her lingerie line that she released at Marks and Spencer called the Rosie for Autograph line and now there’s her makeup line which beauty editors can’t stop raving about. Created for the modern woman, Rosie created high-end makeup for all skin tones and types in a range of neutral colors that are perfect for everyday wear.

If you’re rearing to get a look at Rosie’s line, wait because it’s about to get better once we tell you that Lisa Eldridge, celebrity makeup guru, does Rosie’s makeup using Rosie’s products.

The final look is a neutral, versatile look that’s perfect for both day- and nighttime. Ready to get started?

Step 1

Start by applying Rosie’s Amazing Radiance Cream by Rosie for Autograph with either Tom Ford Shade & Illuminate brush or with a contour brush.

The Amazing Radiance Cream is a primer that moisturizes the skin to give it a healthy glow. Rosie recommends applying it either above or underneath your foundation, but always after you’ve applied your moisturizer.

Step 2

In this tutorial, Lisa Eldridge uses Lancome Teint Visionnaire Foundation and applies it with a buffing brush, starting from the center of the face and blending outwards. Feel free to use your own foundation, but opt for a light coverage, fluid foundation with a dewy finish. Whenever she’s photographed, it’s with luminous and glowing skin, so when creating this look opt for products that recreate our skin’s natural glow.

If you have skin like Rosie, a buffing brush is a great way to apply your foundation as it will even out your skin tone with the minimum amount of product. With that said, a Beauty Blender is always a great alternative. You can even apply blush with your Beauty Blender!

Step 3

Now it’s time for concealer. Apply Rosie for Autograph’s Miracle Concealer under the eyes, around the sides of the nose and anywhere there is redness or discoloration. Buff or blend it seamlessly into your foundation.

Step 4

Who’s ready for some blush? Lisa uses Stila Cream Convertible Blush in Lilium on Rosie, but use whatever formula works best for your skin type.

Because my skin type is oily, I like to apply a cream or gel blush and then lightly dust a corresponding powder blush over it to get the color to last longer. The gel blush I can’t get enough of at the moment is Dior Cheek & Lip Glow. It’s a light, liquid formula that can be used on either the cheeks or lips to give a natural rosy glow. It’s incredible and can be used on any skin tone.

For added radiance, mix your blush with Rosie’s Amazing Radiance Cream.

Step 5

Now you’re going to do a light highlight on the cheeks — you’ll finish highlighting at the end so take it easy here — with Rosie’s Starstruck Highlighter by Rosie for Autograph. Lightly dab straight from the bullet onto the cheekbones and blend out.

Step 6

Set your concealer and T-zone with T. LeClerc Loose Powder in Banane.

Step 7

Now onto eyes! Lisa uses Rosie for Autograph’s Copper Gold Rush palette, but Maybelline’s ExpertWear Eyeshadow Quad in Autumn Coppers or Maybelline The Nudes Palette is a close affordable alternative.

Blend the mid-taupey and peach color together and apply as a light wash over the lids.

Step 8

Apply a dark chocolate brown color into the crease and on the outer edge. Don’t forget to blend, blend, blend.

Step 9

Dampen your eyeshadow brush before taking it to a coppery shade and applying it to the outer edge and center of the eye.

Pro Tip: Dampening your eyeshadow brushes increases the color payoff of your shadows.

Step 10

Now we’re going to apply our eyeliner with Stila Kajal Eyeliner in Tiger’s Eye. When applying your liner, start with a thin line at the inner corner of the eye and thicken it as you go along, working the liner into the roots of your lashes. Wing the liner at the edges to give your eyes an almond-shaped appearance.

Blend out your eyeliner with an eyeshadow brush for a slightly-smudged effect.

Step 11

Take your pencil to the outer corner of your bottom lashes and meet the winged liner on top with a nice sweep of color. Rosie calls this the feline look.

Step 12

After you’ve finished your liner, move on to your brows. Rosie likes to keep her brows as natural looking and full as possible, so with light, quick strokes, fill in 3/4 of your brows and lightly fill in the last quarter. Lisa uses Pur Minerals Wake Up Brow in Latte to do Rosie’s brows.

The eyebrow pencil I currently can’t get enough of is Lorac Pro Brow Pencil. I love the grooming brush and the pencil is slim enough to create precise hair-like strokes. We’ll be filming a review on it soon so stay tuned!

Step 13

Curl your lashes, apply your mascara and voila! Your eye makeup is done. Lisa uses Bourjois Waterproof Volume 1 Seconde Mascara.

Step 14

Now we’re going to move on to the face and do a slight contour with Rosie for Autograph Starstruck Contour. Lightly apply the product with a blush brush on the forehead, jawline and below the cheekbones.

Step 15

After you’ve applied and blended your contour, apply Barry M. Lip Liner in Russet to begin shaping the lips. If you can’t find this brand, a pink brown lip liner will do.

Step 16

After we’ve finished shaping our lips, we’re going to apply our lipstick with a brush for a natural finish. Lisa uses Rosie for Autograph Lipstick in Rose Lace. Finish it off with a touch of gloss to accentuate the lips.

This look is perfect for everyday, daytime wear. With a couple of adjustments here and there, it’s a universal look any skin tone can wear to the office, around the house, meeting with friends, or running errands. The best part about this neutral look is that it’s easy to take from day to night.

We hope you loved this tutorial as much as we did!
