Everyday Spring Makeup Tutorial
We’ve been singing spring’s praises for a while now as we excitedly and eagerly await its arrival. Over the past couple of weeks, we’ve written about everything from spring-ready braided hairstyles to a Spring Break survival kit, but what we realized we were missing was a good everyday makeup tutorial that could become your go-to during the spring season.
This look by Kelly Strack is the perfect everyday spring look. Using soft colors such as peach, pink and neutrals, Kelly creates a beautiful look that can be worn during the day but easily transitioned into nighttime makeup with the swipe of some lipstick.
Keep on scrolling to get the step-by-step tutorial for this look.
Step 1
Start with your primer. Kelly uses Becca Backlight Priming Filter.

Step 2
Then apply your foundation. She uses two shades of L’Oreal Lumi True Match Cushion Foundation to create a liquid contour/highlight effect. To do this, use a lighter shade of foundation for the center of your face and a darker shade on the edges to create the appearance of shadow and depth.

Step 3
Now it’s time to apply your concealer! The concealer used in this tutorial is Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Coverage Concealer. A drugstore dupe for this concealer is Maybelline Fit Me Foundation.

Step 4
Kelly uses a Buxom custom palette to create this look, but the colors you need are a warm neutral such as light brown/beige, a dark chocolate brown, a shimmery peach color and a opalescent white.

Step 5
Apply your warm tone color on the crease and upper crease area. This shade will serve as your eyeshadow base.

Step 6
Take the chocolate brown shade to the crease to deepen the color. To keep this look neutral, opt for a lighter brown color or skip this step altogether.
